Prats i Sansor celebrates Sant Jordi !
There will be a book and rose stop at the Escola Sant Serni. One of the central traditions of Sant Jordi is the exchange of gifts between our loved ones. Typically, men give roses to women, symbolizing love and appreciation, while women give books to men, representing culture and intellect.
Book Day is also celebrated on April 23 because it coincides with the anniversary of the death of two great writers: Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare. It is a day when reading is promoted and the love of books is encouraged.
