Departure from the Romanesque in La Baronia de Rialb

Don't miss this year's October Romanesque Outing in the Baronia de Rialb!

We invite you to the guided tour to discover the heritage of the municipality:

• At 9:30 a.m. Meeting point at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Gualter, Introduction to the Romanesque of La Baronia de Rialb and details of the activity.
• At 10:30 a.m. Departure towards the church of Santa Maria de Palau de Rialb. One of the main jewels of the Baronian Romanesque. We will also see the interesting recently restored paintings.
• At 11:30 a.m. Travel to the medieval center of Politg and visit the Gothic polychrome stone altarpiece of Sant Icle and Santa Victoria.
• At 1:00 p.m. Continue until you reach the part of the swamp in the center of La Torra where you will visit the Romanesque church of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria. A church with a quite unique interior.
• At 1:30 p.m. San Grivés de La Torra is a quite interesting temple that, despite its size, has large naves in its small basilica structure, as well as the three corresponding apses. It belongs to the Romanesque style of the 11th century and is of particular property.
