Priorat Music, Music and Natural Setting

Música Priorat was founded in 2024 with the aim of creating a stable annual program in the different towns of Priorat. Its goal is to bring music to the public, providing a close, innovative, fresh, creative, and high-quality perspective in each of the scheduled concerts. The Series seeks to highlight the uniqueness of Priorat for the audience to appreciate and experience. Elements such as winemaking, the landscape, hiking, and architecture, which identify Priorat, will be integrated into the concerts, which will not be simply traditional musical performances.

This proposal was the initiative of two musicians from the Tarragona region, trained at renowned institutions and with extensive experience in orchestras and chamber groups, both nationally and internationally. The project is, therefore, a high-level artistic initiative with the distinctive seal of the region. The series encompasses small micro-series in each town, with a varied and engaging program.

• April 26 - Plaza de la Sede del Parque Natural - La Morera del Montsant - 9:30 p.m. Ensemble Ars Nova (trio).
• July 25 - Sant Jaume Church - Ulldemolins - 7 p.m. Missim Duo.
• September 11 - Vilella Baixa Tent - La Vilella Baixa - 7 p.m. ClaveVocal.
• September 13 - Sant Pere Church - Poboleda - 7:30 p.m. Ensemble Ars Nova (trio).
• December 13 - Church of Santa Llúcia - La Vilella Alta - 6 p.m. AurumQuintet.
• January 1 - Casal Flor de Mayo - Masroig - 7 p.m. Ensemble Ars Nova (sextet).

With this initiative, Música Priorat aims to offer a unique musical experience that connects with the cultural and natural richness of the region, inviting everyone to enjoy these concerts in an incomparable setting.
