Count Arnau Festival in Sant Joan de les Abadesses
The Count Arnau Festival in Sant Joan de les Abadesses is an annual cultural program inspired by the myth of Count Arnau, held every July and August since 1995.
Once again this summer, Count Arnau and his diverse artistic interpretations will be the nexus of the cultural offerings of San Juan de las Abadesas, in a range of activities that connect our architectural heritage, our history, and our legends and traditions.
A unique festival where the shows take place in the same space where the legends that inspire them also take place. As always, the program will include dance, theater, and music, and will premiere a new work related to the Count.

Saturday, July 5, 2025: Count Arnau by Joan Maragall

Inaugural performance by the SAT Teatre Centre, with a new staging of Maragall's poem.
Saturday, July 12, 2025: Obeses with the Cobla Berga Jove and the Cor de Obeses
