La Sénia Gastronomic Fair

La Sénia Gastronomic Fair is held on the weekend linked to the Sant Gregori Festival (also called Diada del Recapte), which takes place on the Monday closest to May 9.

Today, the Gastronomic Fair has established itself as one of the most emblematic events in Sénia, becoming a benchmark in the municipality's festive calendar. Its success year after year has been the result of the involvement and dedication of all participating organizations, which has allowed the event to progressively grow in number of visitors and exhibitors, transforming it from a regional fair to one that even has a national following.

The most important distinguishing feature of this fair is its commitment to the quality of the food products presented. For this reason, all the cuisine on offer is artisanal, with a predominance of local products, but also with representation from other parts of the country. This has made it a benchmark, being the only fair in Montsià that focuses on promoting food products.

With the aim of complementing and enriching the exhibition, various highly attractive activities are organized in parallel, attracting thousands of visitors thanks to their quality and originality. These include culinary demonstrations led by renowned culinary masters, thoroughbred horse races, donkey races, the creative tapas competition and trail, and the Séniafest concerts. All of this contributes to making this weekend a festive experience.
