International Museum Day in Subirats

Subirats commemorates International Museum Day with a free guided tour and open day at the Última Defensa Interpretation Center in Barcelona.

The Last Defense of Barcelona Interpretation Center (CIUDEB) is once again joining the celebration of International Museum Day, which will be held next Sunday, May 18. For the occasion, a free guided tour of the trenches will be offered. This activity, which usually takes place on the third Sunday of each month at 11:00 a.m., is open to the general public.

The day aims to raise public awareness about the importance of museums in social development, highlighting their role as spaces for historical memory, education, and cultural cohesion.
