Griu Fair in Peramola
The Griu Fair returns to Peramola for another year!
A crafts, food, and local business fair, with various activities including storytelling by the fire, the traditional Ball del Griu, and the Peramola Giants, as well as dance performances, workshops, live music, and a cava bottle cap exchange.
The Fair is dedicated to the Griu, a mythological figure who is part of the bestiary of the town of Peramola. The Griu is a fierce and dangerous mythological creature with the head and forelegs of a giant bird of prey, with golden feathers, sharp claws, and a hooked beak. Its muscular hind legs and tail are those of a lion.
