Remença Festival of the Llémena Valley
A new edition of the Remença Festival in the Llémena Valley is now underway. This year, it will be held on May 25th, starting in Sant Martí de Llémena.
The Remença Festival is celebrated every year in a different municipality of the four that make up the Llémena Valley, which are grouped within the Llémena Valley Community and which are: Canet d'Adri , Sant Aniol de Ventanas, Sant Martí de Llémena and San Gregorio.
The various venues where the Remença Festival was held are places that have been part of the history of one of the first major popular uprisings in Europe against the "evil practices" of feudal lords.
