Feast of San Sebastian in Olvan

On January 20 every year the municipality of Olvan celebrates the festival of San Sebastián, as a people's vote in gratitude to this saint for having freed its inhabitants from the plague during the middle ages.

The acts will begin at 8 in the morning with a mass and the adoration of the saint's relic. At 12 noon the religious office and adoration will be repeated, and a procession will be made that will include the singing of joys and a concert with the choir Estrella de Gironella. At 2 pm the rice will be blessed, which will be distributed in the Plaza de San Sebastián. At half past five in the afternoon, the Athenaeum will dance.
