Be a beekeeper for a day! - Mel La Caseta

At Mel La Caseta, we're a small beekeeping business in Berguedà. Aside from producing honey and other bee products, we aim to bring this fascinating world closer to the general public.

That's why we offer the chance to be a beekeeper for a day! During our guided tours, you'll delve into a world much more complex than you imagine, learn a thousand new things, and be the beekeeper yourself.

During the activity:

• First, we explain who bees are, how they live and organize themselves, and what role the beekeeper plays in this complex universe. It's a quiet time to ask questions and prepare for the upcoming experience.
• Then you'll put on your suit, hat, and gloves and surround yourself with thousands of bees! We'll open the boxes and you'll discover life inside a colony firsthand.
• Next, we'll visit the workshop where you'll see the machinery we use and the completely artisanal process we employ to extract our honey.
• Finally, we will taste our products, straight from our bees to your table.

It's an activity designed for everyone: curious people, families, couples, groups of friends... You don't need to know anything about bees, just the desire to have fun and learn something new.

All this in a peaceful, natural, and very authentic setting. Unhurried, unfiltered, with one foot in the forest and the other inside the hive.
