Free entry and guided tour of the Arrxiu Tomàs Balvey Museum
The Tomàs Balvey Archive Museum houses the Balvey Pharmacy complex, with its original furnishings dating back to 1780 and more than 200 ceramic jars from 1827. There is also a garden dedicated to medicinal plants.
Free admission:
Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3, and the weekend of August 15-17.
Coinciding with the first weekend of the month and Cardedeu's local festival, admission to the museum is free.
Guided tour:
Sundays, August 3 and 17 at 12 noon.
Learn about Cardedeu's past and present and one of the oldest rural pharmacies in Europe.
