30th anniversary Rumajor Bridge in Maçanet de Cabrenys

On July 26, 2025, the 30th anniversary of the Riumajor Bridge (1995-2025) will be celebrated. This symbolic structure, located between Vallespir and Empordà, connects territories and people. This commemoration will take place at Mas de Riumajor, bringing together communities from both sides of the bridge for a day filled with cultural, culinary, and musical activities.

The events will begin at 11:00 a.m. with an institutional ceremony on the bridge itself, followed by sardanas performed by La Cobla Principal del Rosellón at 12:30 p.m. At 1:00 p.m., you can enjoy a popular rice dish, with tomato salad, mountain rice, desserts, bread, water, and wine included. The sardanas will resume at 4:00 p.m., keeping the Catalan musical tradition alive. At 9:30 p.m., the group Apertitube will offer a concert to close the festivities with rhythm and joy. There will be bar service and snacks throughout the day.

Tickets can be purchased at Can Cufí (Albanyà) and at the town halls of Maçanet de Cabrenys, Albanyà, and Costoja. Prices are €15 for adults and €12.50 for children up to 10 years old. The event is organized in collaboration with various Catalan and Northern Catalan organizations and institutions, with the involvement of the town halls and the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government). It is a great opportunity to celebrate the union of peoples and cultures.
