Tosca. The great night of the opera in Tarragona

The performance of the opera Tosca is a step forward in the consolidation of the project started at the Camp de Mart, in June 2021, with the performance of Rigoletto.

This new operatic project by Àngel Òdena wants to bring opera closer to new audiences, presenting more daring scenic approaches, without underestimating the fidelity to the music and the original scripts, and who wants to place Tarragona on the map of cultural production in Catalonia.

The new artistic approach, which will take place at the Tarraco Arena on July 28, 2023, will make this unique space the best scenic setting for the representation of this Tosca, with 120 minutes, for the greatest opera show ever seen in Tarragona.

At the top of the stage, we will have the voices of Vanessa Goikoetxea as Floria Tosca, Alejandro Roy as Mario Cavaradossi, Ángel Odena as Barone Scarpia, in the main roles, and also Stefano Palatchi as Cesare Angelotti, Albert Casals as Spoletta, Enric Martínez Castignani as the sacristan, Quim Cornet as Sciarrone, Emili Gispert as the jailer and Xavier Casademont as the shepherd.

12 extras and dance troupe, 9 singers and soloists, 40 heart singers and 50 musicians.
