Els Pastorets de Súria
One more year Els Pastorets de Súria returns!
The Christmas tradition of Els Pastorets de Súria begins at the end of the 19th century. They are notable for their fidelity to the text by Josep Maria Folch i Torres, the performance of live music, the scenography of the Salvador brothers and the great echo they register year after year, with nearly 300 participants on stage and more than a thousand spectators in their performances, which take place at the Teatre del Foment Cultural.
The music of the work, composed expressly for Els Pastorets de Súria, is original by Antoni Malats i Gallés.
