Tapis, in Maçanet de Cabrenys, hosts a new edition of the slow pipe smoking!

Maçanet de Cabrenys has a long history in the world of smoking pipes thanks to the Salvatella SA pipe factory, which was in operation until 2001. In the 1970s it had more than 40 workers, making it the main industry from town.

Pipe manufacturing has more than 300 years of history in the municipality, which is why since 2013 a slow pipe smoking competition has been held every year.
