Bassegoda Park is a 1st category family campsite and bungalow park, perfect to go with children, located in Albanyà (Girona), in the Empordà, in the Girona region.
At Bassegoda Park, children are our priority. We offer a calendar of themed weekends with activities and workshops for children and families. This is in addition to the usual campsite entertainment program during the high season.
Albanyà is one of the best places in Europe to observe the dark sky and the stars: the Bassegoda Park is an astronomical campsite! The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) awarded Albanyà recognition as the first International Dark Sky Park in Spain; and Bassegoda Park was also the first campsite on the Iberian Peninsula to receive the Starlight Camp rating to promote activities related to astronomy. The Albanyà Astronomical Observatory, next to the campsite, allows you to enjoy the stars and this privileged sky!
The Bassegoda Park is located in Alt Empordà, at the entrance to the protected area of the Alta Garrotxa Space of Natural Interest, with countless routes around it. It is located 25 km from Figueres, capital of Alt Empordà, birthplace of Salvador Dalí; and 40 km from the Costa Brava, with the best beaches in the Girona region. Aware of respecting the natural environment, Bassegoda Park is the first home automation campsite in all of Spain, with maximized energy efficiency and minimized light and noise pollution.
