Hostal Can Xicu Capmany
Can Xicu Rural Hostel, located in the center of the village of Capmany ( Alt Empordà ), consists of 3 double rooms, 2 of which can be converted into quadruples. All rooms have an en suite bathroom, heating, air conditioning, a TV, refrigerator, safe, and free Wi-Fi. It has a very spacious dining room, a stone interior patio, and a garden where you can relax.
Can Xicu, restored in 2017, preserves the medieval feel of the house. The entrance, with its interior courtyard and stone well, will transport us back in time. The rooms, which are equipped with all the modern amenities, will allow us to enjoy our land, the Empordà.
The house was part of the Wall and Castle of the town of Capmany. Currently, some buildings are preserved and the surrounding houses have been restored, preserving their history.
Common areas for rest and coexistence
Guests can enjoy an interior stone courtyard and a picturesque garden, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hostel also offers a spacious lounge and dining room with a free coffee and tea area, as well as a breakfast service featuring locally sourced produce (reservation required). For cycling enthusiasts, bicycles are available free of charge for exploring the surrounding area of Capmany.
