European Conference on Heritage of Castellfollit de Riubregós
One more year, Castellfollit de Riubregós celebrates the European Heritage Days (JEP), an initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission that has been taking place uninterruptedly in Catalonia since 1991. They are considered the most important participatory activity in Europe in relation to the cultural heritage.
The City Council of Castellfollit de Riubregós participates in these Heritage days with a guided visit to the Castle of Sant Esteve.
A large part of the walled perimeter of the castle enclosure is preserved, fully adapted to the terrain. In the highest part of the castle is the base of a circular tower, from which a large interior patio opens.
