Dramatized tour of the fortress with engineer Santa Cruz, Hostalric
A trip to the 18th century with engineer Francisco de Santa Cruz!
Delve into the history and military life of the 18th century with this unique dramatized tour of the bastioned fortress of Hostalric. You'll accompany military engineer Francisco de Santa Cruz, the creator of the fortress's original design, and discover firsthand how one of Catalonia's most iconic defensive structures was conceived and defended.
During the visit, you will relive the warlike atmosphere and military architecture of the period (moats, bastions, covered paths and impregnable enclosures), and you will learn how the old Cabrera castle was transformed into a strategic and modern fortress, built on a basalt stone hill.

- Date: Saturday, July 5th.
- Time: 6:30 p.m. (approximate duration of 2 hours).
- Meeting point: School parking lot.
- Prices:
- General rate: €10 per person.
- Reduced rate (ages 7 to 18, over 65s, retirees, pensioners, people with disabilities, youth card holders, and residents of Hostalric): €6 per person.
- Free for children under 6 and Super 3 card holders.
- Recommendation: Comfortable shoes are recommended. This activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
