Free guided tours of Castell de Gelida
As part of the European Heritage Days, the Friends of Gelida Castle Association is organizing free guided tours of the entire Gelida Castle grounds on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
There will be two sessions, at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Places are limited, so advance reservations are required.
Types and rates of visits
A walk through the Castle
Free access to the site. Guided tour and admission to the Church of Sant Pere or the Interpretation Center are not included.
General rate: €1*
Free admission: residents of Gelida, members of the Friends of Gelida Castle Association, RECERCAT card holders, Youth Card holders, and children under 9. (*Prices subject to municipal tax)
A Castle and a Church
Guided tour of the Church of Sant Pere with an audiovisual screening and free access to the permanent exhibition at the Interpretation Center.
Duration: 30 minutes
General rate: €3
Reduced rates:
– Students, Youth Card holders, retirees, groups of 10 or more people and RECERCAT card holders: €2
- Members of the Friends of Gelida Castle Association: €1
Free admission: children under 9 years old.
A Castle of the Brand
Guided tour of the lower grounds with audiovisual projection, visit to the Church of Sant Pere and the permanent exhibition at the Interpretation Center.
Duration: 1 hour
General rate: €4
Reduced rates:
– Students, Youth Card holders, retirees, groups (minimum 10 people) and RECERCAT card holders: €2.50
- Members of the Friends of Gelida Castle Association: €1.50
Free admission: children under 9 years old.
Optional supplement: Brut Nature Tasting (Oxygen) Can Pasqual, DO Penedès.
Price: €3 per person
Conditions: 3 days advance reservation required, minimum 6 participants.
Additional duration: approximately 20-30 minutes.
Restriction: prohibited for persons under 18 years of age.
The Castle stone by stone
Guided tour of the entire castle complex, with audiovisual presentations and a visit to the Church of Sant Pere and the Interpretation Center.
Duration: 1 h 30 minutes
General rate: €5
Reduced rates:
– Students, Youth Card holders, retirees, groups (minimum 10 people) and RECERCAT card holders: €4
- Members of the Friends of Gelida Castle Association: €3
Free admission: children under 9 years old.
