A privileged place
The municipalities of the interior Baix Camp make up a territory of quite diverse forested and agricultural areas but with a common denominator: its rural and Mediterranean charm. The Mountains of the Costa Daurada link a series of imposing mountain ranges (Llaberia, L'Argentera and Prades) that hug the coastline from west to east.
Next to the mountains we find tourist resources as important as PortAventura, between Salou and Vila-seca; enjoyment? Center and the modernist route of Reus, a city with a very active trade; Roman Tarragona, declared a World Heritage Site, or the route of the Cistercian monasteries (Poblet, Santes Creus and Vallbona de les Monges). Other places of interest nearby are the medieval complex of Montblanc, the Priorat wines and wineries, or the Sierra del Montsant Natural Park.

The Llaberia, Pradell-l'Argentera and Prades mountain ranges combine very different landscapes, with rich Mediterranean vegetation, including pine, holm oak and garrigue, as well as hazelnut, olive and vine crops.. Within the great expanse of the Costa Daurada Mountains, natural caprices stand out such as the Mussara cliffs , the Gralles cave or the Foradada Rock. As for the highest points, the Mola de Colldejou (914 m), La Miranda (919 m), the uninhabited town of La Mussara (990 m) or the Baltasana hill (1,201 m) stand out. All these sites offer spectacular views.
In the Mountains of the Costa Daurada there are four areas included in the Plan for Areas of Natural Interest (PEIN): the Prades Mountains, the Pradell-l'Argentera mountain ranges, the Llaberia mountain range, and the Virgen de the rock.
