Theatrical visit to the Medieval Village of Santpedor
Don't miss the dramatized visit to the Medieval Village of Santpedor!
On the occasion of Santpedor en Flor, and as an exception, the monthly guided tour will take place on Sunday instead of the usual Saturday. The tour will take place on Sunday, May 4, with two sessions scheduled at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
During this visit, we'll travel back in time to the Middle Ages, a time when Santpedor achieved royal status, becoming the largest and most important settlement in Bages after Manresa. Participants will learn about:
- The parish church and the Romanesque portal, the work of Arnau Cadell (12th century), which is the first embryo of the sacrera of Sant Pere d'Or.
- The Palace of the Counts-Kings.
- The main buildings and streets with medieval vestiges.
- The three portals that are still preserved from the 14th century wall.
The visit is free, a perfect opportunity to discover the history and culture of Santpedor in a fun and interactive way.
