Pea time in the Maresme
The pea, also known as "the green pearl of the Maresme", is one of the most traditional legumes in our region. With the arrival of spring and good weather, the months of March and April, numerous localities call gastronomic outreach activities of this product of the earth, as precious as valued in the kitchen and at the table.
The Maresme pea has been listed as a singular product of the region and deserves to be the protagonist of the Gastronomic Days "Pea Time", in which you can enjoy the tasting of menus and dishes made with Maresme peas in restaurants, buy delicacies to craft shops and fill the basket directly from producers.
