National Day of Catalonia in Artesa de Segre
Artesa de Segre celebrates the National Day of Catalonia!
At 9:30 a.m. there will be the rally in the Plaza de la Nación Catalana and at 10 a.m. the climb from the Senyera to the Roca del Cudós, there will also be breakfast for everyone!
La Diada commemorates the events of September 11, 1714, when Bourbon troops took Barcelona and ended the War of the Spanish Succession. This event led to the loss of autonomy and the abolition of Catalan institutions by the Spanish authorities.
It is a day of vindication and reflection on Catalan history and identity. We will wait for you!
