Meeting of giants in L'Ametlla de Merola
L'Ametlla de Merola (Puig-reig) is the host of a new edition of the Meeting of Giants.
The planting will be at 6:30 in the afternoon in the playground and at 7 the parade will begin through the streets and squares, at the end there will be different dances in the Church square. Around 9 o'clock dinner will be made on the basketball court.
The Meeting of Giants in L'Ametlla de Merola is an occasion in which groups of giants from different municipalities meet and participate in a great festive celebration. This meeting is a celebration that reveals a deeply rooted tradition in Catalonia, that of giants.
