Cervera celebrates its Winter Festival!
The winter Festival is part of the history and culture of Cervera in a very deep-rooted way. The solemnity of the events that are celebrated in this Major Festival mark the festivity in a very special way, which combines religious events with recreational and festive events.
The Compline Song stands out, a popular musical event. The Compline of Cervera, written in 1870 by the chapel teachers Salvador Vidal and Joan Pont, are composed of popular pieces of the time.
The Fiesta Mayor is declared a heritage festival of national interest and included in the Catalog of the festive heritage of Catalonia.
