International Museum Day in Olesa de Montserrat
Olesa de Montserrat celebrates International Museum Day this year with a weekend full of activities!
On Saturday the 17th, there will be a wide range of activities from 6pm to midnight, including tapas and Montserratí wines, children's entertainment with Jaume Barri, a batucada (a traditional dance group), hot chocolate, a historical camp, and the Dragon Olive stand. At 7:30pm, there will be a storyteller by Albert Caro entitled El Drac Olivé, protector of Montserratí, and the day will conclude with a concert by Carles Belda at 10pm.
On Sunday the 18th, tapas and wine continue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a vermouth concert with Laura Franch at 12 p.m.
A cultural initiative to bring heritage to everyone, organized by the Department of Heritage and Tourism of the Olesa de Montserrat City Council, with the support of local entities, the Montserrat Rural Park, and the Barcelona Provincial Council.
