Guided walk "Descending the Tordera River" in Fogars de la Selva
The Tordera river course, which originates in Montseny and descends to the sea, has helped build the identity of all those towns that have grown on its banks. If you want to discover it by taking a walk parallel to its course, get ready, this activity is for you!
This natural space unknown even by the inhabitants of neighboring towns constitutes the backbone of the entire territory it supplies. Throughout its journey, diverse populations and socioeconomic activities have been established. It brings together a great diversity of animals and plants and also has a special geological interest. Although the river appears to be dry, its waters circulate mostly underground.
