Guided tour of the Medieval Deserted Village of Santa Creu de Llagunes

The abandoned village of Santa Creu de Llagunes is one of the most important high-altitude archaeological sites in Catalonia and offers the opportunity to discover mountain life in times past. To bring this heritage closer to the public, guided tours are organized on various days during the summer and fall seasons.

This year, outings will take place from August 22 to 31, as well as on September 11, 12, and 13, coinciding with weekends and holidays, to facilitate participation for all.

Tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays at two scheduled times: in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and in the afternoon at 5:30 p.m. To ensure a quality experience, a minimum group size of six is required. The cost is €8 for adults and €5 for children under 12, a rate designed to make the activity accessible to families and diverse groups.

Registration must be made in advance by calling 680 239 423, where reservations are processed. The meeting point is the rest area hut located on the N-260 highway, at kilometer 264, between Sort and La Seu d'Urgell, an easily accessible and well-signposted location.
