Festivities of the Barony of Pinós in Bagà

Bagà relives its history with the Pinós Barony Festival, a celebration that will transform the town into an authentic medieval setting!

Throughout the weekend, the streets will be filled with historical reenactments, craft markets, ancient music, shows, and family activities, in an event that has established itself as one of Berguedà's most iconic events.

The festival kicks off on Friday, October 10, with the official reception at the Palau dels Pinós and the reading of the proclamation by historian Carles Gascón. In the afternoon, medieval music by the Joglars de Ripollet will conclude the opening day, setting the festive tone for the weekend.

Saturday the 11th will open with the Baronia market and a traditional crafts and trades exhibition, which will fill the streets of Bagà with stalls and demonstrations of ancient crafts. During the morning, there will be children's games, workshops, lectures, and guided tours, and in the afternoon, activities such as a dramatized tour of the market, the lighting of the fireworks, and the eagerly awaited FireNight evening show by the Improvis'o Company.

Sunday the 12th will be dedicated to popular culture and traditions, with archery displays, medieval dances, parades, and the bell-ringing gathering at the Church of Sant Esteve, one of the festival's most emblematic activities.

In addition, throughout the weekend, the public will be able to enjoy a recreation of a medieval camp, food tastings in Porxada Square, and live music.

The Pinós Barony Festival is much more than a fair: it's a journey back in time that celebrates Bagà's historical identity and its legacy as the medieval heart of Berguedà.
