A walk through the city of eternity in Canet de Mar
A walk through the city of eternity. Cemetery at sunset in Canet de Mar!
Americans, landowners and industrialists are the owners of these houses of eternity, which in some cases were built by the family architect himself, who was in charge of building the summer house, the factory, and finally the pantheon.
We invite you, therefore, to discover the quality of this funerary architecture, which served to further underscore the importance of this emerging new class beyond its death. Works by leading figures of Modernism, such as Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Eduard Ferrés i Puig, are featured, as well as by their frequent collaborators, such as Pau Gargallo and Josep Llimona, among others.
