Terrer Empordà Festival

The Terrer Empordà Festival is a cultural event that brings together various activities in different locations in the region, such as Vilabertran, Empúries, Sant Pere de Rodes and Calonge.

This year, the festival celebrates a special moment, as it commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Empordà Designation of Origin (1975-2025), highlighting the richness and diversity of the region's cultural and gastronomic heritage.

Festival Program

The festival offers a varied program that includes musical performances, visual arts, and contemporary dance. The scheduled activities are detailed below:

• Thursday, May 15 (7 p.m.) at the Canonica de Santa María de Vilabertran: opening ceremony of the Festival, with performances by Visions de Terrer and Lo Gualtero (visual arts and contemporary dance).
• Friday, May 16 (7 p.m.) at MAC-Empúries: performance by Anna Ferrer and Romina Ribera, who will present ancient wines, anchovies, and signature folk music.
• Saturday, May 17 (12 p.m.) at the Cadaqués Parish Church: Carles Viarnès and Alícia Juher will offer contemporary sacred music accompanied by wines from Cap de Creus.
• Saturday, May 17 (6 p.m.) at the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes: performance by the Jove Capella Reial de Cataluya, with Adrià Pujol Cruells and Anna Vicens.
• Sunday, May 18 (12 p.m.) at Calonge Castle: performance by Alba Careta, Ruth Troyano and Rosa Font.
• Sunday 18 May (5.30pm) at the Canonic Church of Santa Maria de Vilabertran: performances by Elisabeth Roma & David G. Aparicio, Clara Antúnez and Laura Ortensi.
