Lliçà d'Amunt is gearing up for a Castañada and Halloween filled with activities, excitement, and shared traditions. This year, the municipality has organized a packed program that will run from October 25th to November 8th, combining family, cultural, and recreational activities for all ages.

The main attraction will be the 18th Night of Terror, which will take place on Saturday, November 8th at the Can Malé Municipal Space, where the "Insomnia" Tunnel of Terror will be set up, an intense and chilling experience for the bravest. The activity, promoted by the Department of Children and Youth and the youth group El Galliner, will feature the participation of more than twenty young volunteers from the municipality, who will make possible a staging full of suspense and surprises. Tickets, with a symbolic price of three euros, can be purchased in advance between October 20th and November 6th through the municipal website. The activity is designed for young people aged twelve and over, with limited passes for small groups that will allow for a more immersive experience.

That same Saturday, the La Sagrera neighborhood will also celebrate one of the most anticipated events of autumn with its traditional Popular Chestnut Festival, a festival open to everyone that begins at 5:00 p.m. with the lighting of bonfires and chestnut toasting. The day continues with Halloween stories, crochet workshops, devil dances, ratafia tastings, and finally, a traditional Irish music concert with the Nancy Whiskey Band. Throughout the festival, there will be bar service with drinks, snacks, and sales of chestnuts, muscatel, and ratafia, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that will bring together residents and visitors.

In addition, the Ca l'Artigues Tennis Club offers another chilling experience with its Tunnel of Terror, which will open its doors on Saturday, October 25th and Friday, October 31st. Visitors can enjoy a tour full of scares, creatures of the night, and terrifying scenes designed to make for a fun and adrenaline-filled evening.

With all these offerings, Lliçà d'Amunt combines the most authentic tradition of the Castañada with the fun and mystery of modern Halloween. The result is a calendar full of activities that unites generations, encourages participation, and turns the town into a meeting point for all those who want to experience autumn with intensity, joy, and, of course, a dose of fear.
