2 days - La Vall D'Aran. La Artiga de Lin in 4X4 and wild animals

Day 1- PLACE OF ORIGIN – VIELHA – ARAN PARK ANIMAL PARK – ARTIES – ARAN VALLEY

Departure towards Lleida and El Pont de Suert. Stop en route for breakfast (not included) and continuation of the trip to reach Vielha where we will have free time to explore its old neighborhood considered a historical-artistic monument. Transfer to the hotel and lunch.

In the afternoon we will move to the heart of the Pyrenees to reach Aran Park, where we will discover the wild fauna of the mountains. A park in the middle of nature that houses a variety of animal species in semi-freedom, being able to admire their way of life and some of them in a very close way and being able to feed them. We will find the marmot, the deer, the bear, the roe deer, the fallow deer, the lynx, the white wolf..., animals that, walking along a perfectly paved route, we will be able to contemplate in their natural environment.

Finishing the visit, we will make a stop to visit the beautiful town of Arties where in its old town the parish church of Sta. María de Arties stands out, a Romanesque construction from the 11th century with an elegant bell tower. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2.- ARAN VALLEY – ARTIGA DE LIN – PLACE OF ORIGIN

Breakfast. In the morning we will take an excursion in special vehicles that will take us to the Artiga de Lin and Uelhs deth Joeu. We will take a guided panoramic tour, stopping to admire its wonderful landscapes and the waterfalls that come from the Aneto Peak glacier and reemerge from the underground world.

The Artiga de Lin area is considered by many to be the most beautiful natural corner and with the most impressive and surprising landscapes of the Aran Valley, made up of lush forests and full of water that emerges from countless corners of great beauty.

Next we will move to Vilamós where we will make an interesting visit to the Joanchiquet House-Museum from the early 20th century that shows us the way of life of a rich Aranese family.

This trip, a form of residence typical of Aran, is made up of a group of buildings intended for housing and work, being a group differentiated from the rest of the houses in the town as it is a residence of a high social status. A fantastic visit to learn in depth about the Aranese way of life where the house, its properties and its name were transmitted from generation to generation to a single son, the heir. Lunch at the hotel and return to our place of origin.
