2 days, Carcassonne and Collioure: History and Medieval Charm, Apollo Tours

On October 11th and 12th, experience Carcassonne and Collioure, a place of history and medieval charm!

DAY 1 - PLACE OF ORIGIN - CARCASSONNE - EMPURIABRAVA.

We'll depart in the morning for the fascinating Carcassonne, one of the most impressive medieval towns in France. With its 52 towers and over 3 km of walls, this historic gem has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During our visit, we'll walk through its cobbled streets, which seem straight out of a medieval tale, and enjoy free time to explore at our own pace. Lunch will be served in a restaurant with the traditional and delicious Cassoulet, a typical dish of the region. In the afternoon, we'll continue exploring the charms of the Cité before transferring to the hotel in Empuriabrava for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2 - EMPURIABRAVA - COLLIOURE - PLACE OF ORIGIN.

Breakfast and departure for Collioure, a picturesque town on the French coast, famous for its medieval castle and lighthouse church on the beach. This place, with its bohemian and medieval atmosphere, has been a source of inspiration for artists such as Matisse and Picasso, in addition to being the exiled residence of the poet Antonio Machado. We will enjoy free time to stroll through its charming cobblestone streets and explore the most beautiful corners of this place full of history. We will return to the hotel for lunch and, at the agreed-upon time, we will return to our place of origin, bringing with us unforgettable memories of this unique getaway.
