Screening of "4 Museum Pieces in Palafrugell", Cork Museum Catalonia

This May 16, 2025, at 7 p.m., screening of “4 Museum Pieces in Palafrugell” at the Cork Museum of Catalonia!

A screening of four audiovisuals showcasing different aspects of the area's historical, industrial, and cultural heritage: "Roda hidràulica , " a journey through the history of a revolutionary invention for industrialization: the wheel. "Un rajoler" (A Rajoler) (1956), a documentary by Joaquim Puigvert about the trade of rajoler in a time of transformation, with remarkable cinematic sensitivity.

“Tirant l'art” (Tirant l'art), a film by an unknown author about a traditional fishing technique, shot in the 1950s in the Bay of Roses, boasts remarkable visual beauty. “Recordant el tren petit” (Remembering the Little Train), a tribute to the little train of Palafrugell, with a prologue and epilogue by Lluís Molinas and Salvi Martí, and a poetic chronicle by Josep Martí Clarà (Bepes), accompanied by images from 1953.
