Viladasens
The municipality of Viladasens has almost 16 km² and just over 200 inhabitants. Its name means "village of donkeys". It is located in the northeastern end of the Gironès region. The nuclei that make it up are Fellines, Mas Nicolau, La Mata, la Móra and Viladasens. The municipality is located on undulating terrain with small elevations. It is drained by the Cinyana stream and includes the valley of this river and is populated by pine and oak forests.
The Iberian era left its mark on this small village where remains from this era have been found on the Pou de Glaç and Creu de Fellines hills. During medieval times its population doubled and agriculture expanded, becoming a rural town full of landscapes with cultivated fields that invite peace and tranquility.
You must visit the churches of Sant Vicenç de Viladasens, Sant Martí de Fellines, a Romanesque church declared a cultural asset of local interest, and Sant Martí de la Mora, as well as a series of farmhouses with voussoired doors and windows.
