Visit the Regional Museum of Urgell -Tàrrega
The Urgell Regional Museum is located in the old Perelló family home, an urban palace from the late 17th century.
The permanent exhibition goes from prehistory, with Els ibers a l'Urgell, through medieval Tàrrega with Tragèdia al call. Tàrrega 1348, the Noble Rooms of Cal Perelló and, finally, an overview of the history of art in the city between the years 1875 and 1965.
The Museum facilities also preserve a collection of ethnological material, a photographic collection and an important set of costumes from the early 20th century (donated by the family of the writer Manuel de Pedrolo).
The Urgell Regional Museum has also published the Urtx miscellany annually since 1989. Revista d'Humanitats de l'Urgell.
The museum is part of the network of museums in the lands of Lleida and Aran.
Schedule:
Without prior reservation: guided visits every Sunday at 12 noon.
For other times, reservations are required.
