Gardeny's Castle

Gardeny Castle, located on the hill of the same name, is a fortified enclosure around a castle built by the Templars in medieval times. Transformed for different uses over the years, it has been recovered by hosting an interpretation center that allows a better understanding of the legacy of the monastic order that was originally established.

This is one of the most unknown spaces in the city. Located on the southern outskirts of Lleida, its views over the city, the Segre River and the orchard are certainly privileged. Not in vain did the Templars build one of the most important castles of the order in the 12th century.

Today you can visit the remains of the building, with access to its roof terrace and the representation that has been made into a museum of daily life that took place when it was a first-class military post.

Pifarre Farm

Once you have visited the Castle, you can visit the Pifarré Farm, where if you want you can schedule a guided tour where you can see the old stable, the Farinetes tower, the orchard, the chicken coop, the path of the main canal, the fruit fields, the world cow barn, calf farm and farm store.
