Sports Week in Masquefa

Masquefa will experience a week full of physical activity, competition, and fun with Sports Week, an initiative that aims to promote healthy activity, participation, and active living among residents of all ages.

The program includes a wide variety of activities for all levels: physical challenges, workshops, open classes, and sports tournaments, in collaboration with the CEM and various local organizations. Throughout the week, the Fitness Room and the municipal pool will host four challenges —squat, bench press, rowing, and "fastest pool"—with prizes for the men's and women's categories.

Practical sessions will be scheduled for Tuesday, including a talk on strength training, open cross-training classes, and online dance activities in Plaza de la Vila. BallFit will be held at the municipal soccer field on Wednesday, while a workshop on physical training and body anatomy will be led by professionals from the FISART center on Thursday.

Nutrition will also be a key focus on Friday with the workshop "Energy Drinks and More..." led by dietitian Núria Duran, and the weekend will be a time for competition and fun with the American Padel Tournament, the E-sports and Recreational Games Afternoon, and the Traditional Games Playroom.

On Sunday, the closing ceremony will be intense: the Chess Tournament and the IX Trail Les Tres Fonts, organized by the Masquefa Trail Association, will bring to a close a week dedicated entirely to sport.

Additionally, local organizations such as Masquefa Table Tennis Club, Masquefa Patí Club, L'Alzinar, Masquefa Gymnastics Association, and Masquefa Volleyball Club will offer open-door activities, classes, and family tournaments.
