Bunquerada Popular Walk in Montellà and Martinet
The Bunker Park of Martinet i Montellà organizes the Bunquerada Popular Walk, with the support of the Montellà i Martinet City Council.
The itinerary links a large number of bunkers on Line P, a defensive construction built during the 40s and 50s of the 20th century in the context of the Second World War. This fortification was to have a total of 10,000 bunkers organized into 169 resistance centers from Cape Creus to the Basque Country.
During the Bunquerada, a good part of the 150 bunkers that we find distributed throughout the Baridà will be visited, defending a possible invasion coming from the north through one of the most accessible valleys of the Pyrenees: the Cerdaña.
Therefore, we invite you to tour the Martinet Resistance Center, with the aim of publicizing this historical moment and this great military defense in an incomparable landscape.
Additionally, this year we have added 3 bunkers not located until now to the course!
