Pals and the Rice Kitchen

Since 1994, the cycle of activities related to the world of rice has begun with the Pals Gastronomic Campaign and Rice Cuisine, organized jointly by Pals City Council, the town's restaurants, and rice mills. This gastronomic initiative aims to promote the quality of this product, so deeply rooted in our region.

During the spring months, participating restaurants in the town offer their customers a menu based on Pals rice in a casserole as a main course, accompanied by starters and desserts tailored to each establishment's style.

The campaign is complemented by a series of events, including themed guided tours based on the history and traditions surrounding the world of rice, cooking classes, local produce markets, lectures, and craft workshops using rice stalks.
