Open House at Cava wineries
On October 12, 2025, coinciding with the Pilar festival, one of the most established wine tourism events in the region returns: the Cava Winery Open House. The event, promoted by the Cofraria del Cava (Cofradia of Cava) with the support of the AECAVA association, offers the public the opportunity to delve into the world of cava with its leading figures.
In this edition, 22 wineries will open their doors to share activities designed for all audiences: guided tours of facilities and vineyards, guided tastings, unique tastings, and tailored experiences. The program aims to bring cava culture closer to visitors and showcase the surrounding landscape, highlighting both the production process and the people and environment involved.
The participating wineries this year are: Alta Alella, Batllori, Blancher, Canals & Domingo, Canals & Munné, Cava Rovellats, Caves Bolet, Bodega Eudald Massana, Bodega Parató, Bodega Vell Cava, Bodegas Carol Vallès, Codorníu, Giró Ribot, Guilera, Jaume Serra, Juvé & Camps, Maria Rigol Ordi, Mascaró, Molí Parellada, Pagès Entrena, Torrens Moliner and Vins el Cep.
As usual, visits require prior reservation, as each winery manages its capacity to ensure a personalized and curated experience. Registration can be made directly with each winery through the usual channels ( website, email, or phone ). Without a confirmed reservation, you will not be able to participate in the activities.
Prices vary depending on each winery's offering: some tours are free, while others have a nominal fee, often earmarked for charity. In fact, a significant portion of the wineries will allocate the proceeds to social projects, local organizations, or charitable initiatives, thus strengthening the sector's ties to the community.
This event, already established as a benchmark event in Catalonia's wine tourism calendar, is an ideal opportunity for couples, families, and groups of friends who want to experience cava from the inside: learn about its tradition, discover the secrets of its production, and enjoy a privileged setting where heritage, culture, and sustainability come together.
Don't miss it!
