A vibrant portrait of a society trapped between desires and convictions.
Delve into a romantic tragedy full of intensity, which explores illusions and disappointments, loves and heartbreaks, fidelities and betrayals. The story revolves around a couple who face their inability to have children in a small grocery store, a microcosm of the life of a young couple. where the most hidden desires will clash with the rigid norms of an oppressive society.
"L'Aranya", one of the lesser-known but most striking works by Àngel Guimerà, comes to the TNC for the first time with a dramaturgy and direction by Jordi Prat i Coll.
After the performances at the Sala Gran, this production will embark on a tour throughout the Catalan-speaking territory, with the aim of bringing theatre everywhere.
