Improvised Song Sample in Sant Quirze del Vallès
The Improvised Song Showcase returns to Sant Quirze del Vallès for another year with its fourteenth edition!
Six outstanding glossators from the Catalan Countries will face various tests designed by the Glosadoras de la Serra team. To the beat of traditional melodies from the region, they will improvise verses and fill the Josep Brossa Hall of the Patronal with creativity and ingenuity. This edition features the participation of Pau Riera (Mallorca), Laia Pedrol (Baix Montseny), Joan Font (Empordà), Núria Casals (Osona), Pol Kvan and Esther Santos (Baix Llobregat).
Musical accompaniment will be provided by Marta Rius, Pep Pastor, and Guillem Ballaz. At the end of the exhibition, there will be an open glossation on Pintor Vila-uig Street, hosted by the glossation group "Oidà-Manlleu," and a communal dinner hosted by Pa i punt.
