Neighborhood Festivals in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia

Sant Sadurní d'Anoia celebrates one of the most traditional events in its festive calendar, the Neighborhood Festival, the oldest of which are preserved in the municipality and which have their roots in the celebration of the capvuitada de corpus.

They begin on Corpus Christi with the fiesta of the first neighborhood, and end a week later, with the Rengle of the last. Despite the growth and transformation experienced in Sant Sadurní over the years, the festival has always preserved the tradition of the seven neighborhoods, following the same order of celebration: Town Hall (Thursday), Sant Antoni (Friday), Montserrat ( Saturday), Església (Sunday), Diputació (Monday), Cavallers (Tuesday) and Raval (Wednesday).

The traditional storms start each neighborhood and the fireworks and the lines with the company of the Banda de los Barrios, the mantillas, the canes and carnations, will once again be the identity traits of some of the neighborhoods, such as the flower carpets from the Església neighborhood. Each neighborhood also has a lot of activities from ice creams for everyone, family and traditional activities, music and dances.

The commission of each neighborhood organizes the different acts and maintains the traditional lines.
