The Fiesta de Sant Antoni is back for another year in Sant Jaume d'Enveja!
Sant Antoni is the patron saint of animals that coexist with man, and also of peasants and muleteers. Every year, for Sant Antoni Abat, people who want to bless their pets and vehicles (cars and agricultural machinery) clean, groom and decorate them.
The Fiesta de Sant Antoni or Tres Tombs is the most celebrated festival in all the Catalan-speaking territories. It is the quintessential winter festival, a prelude to carnival, and is an important celebration in countries with Christian influence.
