Festival of La Central de Capdella

The Capdella Central Festival (La Torre de Capdella) is here!

There will be a lot of acts, including a foam party, a popular dinner with a jazz-soul session, a concert, among others!

The Capdella Power Plant was created as an industrial camp following the construction of the hydroelectric power station at the beginning of the 20th century. La Central lived a splendid 20th century, and grew like the well-known textile colonies (school, cinema, commissary, dispensary, post office, etc.). Due to the automation of the plant and the lack of jobs in the region, the plant, like a good part of the Valley, gradually became depopulated.
