Navas Major Festival
Navàs once again enjoys its most emblematic festival, the Fiesta Mayor!
Around August 25, Sant Genís, patron saint of the town, the Navàs festival is celebrated, a festival full of events designed for all audiences and ages, and which tries to be as participatory and popular as possible.
Intense holidays for the entire population! Music, popular culture, shows, dance and concerts, giants, dwarves, rattlesnakes, stickmen, the owl, social gatherings, sports and much more!
The highlight of the festival is on Sunday at noon, in which the traditional dances of giants, dwarfs, rattlers and cane-bearers are danced in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, in front of the entire town, after having made a parade through the streets of the town and having lit a Valencian firecracker along the street of the Church.
