Na Mercadera Medieval Fair in Peralada
During the first weekend of June, Peralada goes back 700 years to transform the historic center into a unique set, where fantasy and history transport the visitor to the ancient County of Peralada.
The name chosen for the Medieval Fair is Na Mercadera, the name given to "The Heroine of Peralada" who appeared in one of the chapters of the Chronicle by Ramon Muntaner, illustrious son of Peralada and medieval chronicler.
The celebration features the artisan market, children's shows, concerts and medieval music, knight fights, guided tours, conferences, the participation of local giants, the chronicler Ramon Muntaner and the heroine Na Mercadera and, on Saturday, parallel cultural activities.
